And another one...

Yet another EM4 Thug completed last night.

I wanted him in a garish hoodie so I went with a 'pagan green' and yellow color scheme.  I think it works well and certainly would stand out in the crowd.  I imagine this guy is not the smartest dude out there but at least his clothes are bright!  With the slacker look on his face you get the idea that his duel-wielded pistols might go off in any direction.  Probably best to give him a wide berth!  He definitely will add some character to any group of survivors or gangers.  Again I will say I really like these Thugs - tons of character and very easy to paint.

There is a little shine on the model in spots because I haven't coated him in matte spray.  I didn't have my magnifying glass lamp last night when I finished him so I'd like to give him a once over before I coat him.  I think he turned out OK and I really like the color of his hoodie.  I'm trying to decide if I should paint his eyes or leave them since they are shaded by the hoodie.  Suggestions?

So, nothing amazing to boast about today but at least I'm getting some figures finished.  Am really wanting to get a game in soon...

  1. He looks really good, I like the colour scheme. Myself, I'd still probably attempt the eyes, even though they may be concealed.

    Keep the thugs coming!

  4. Outrageous colour scheme but so in keeping with the character. His eyes are so well hidden by his hood I'd be tempted to just leave them as is.

  6. Thanks for the input and positive comments! I have 5 more Thugs to paint up. One more should be done soon. Then I need to get some more zombies painted. I bought the 50 for $50 deal from Victory Force a couple months ago so I've plenty of zeds to paint!

  7. I really like the Thugs but I still haven't bought them yet...
About the eyes, I always paint them because, if you can see them, it's right you painted 'em, if you can't see them, it can be counted as "painting training" (I hope my english was good in this one! ;P )

  11. I decided to not paint the eyes. I'm trying to not be so perfectionistic with this stuff. Since one can't really see his eyes anyway I figured it was fine like it is.

The Victory Force zombies are pretty good. I cleaned a couple last night and will do a review in a future post. They needed a fair bit of cleaning - lots of flash - but the detail is good and there are some fun zombie types.

    Thanks again everyone!
