Bad Boys, Bad Boys, Watcha Gonna Do?!

Finally finished these guys!

These minis have been sitting on my desk for I don't even want to know how many months.  I started them...got distracted...had Real Life issues intervene...numerous times...got discouraged...worked on them a bit...wasn't happy with how they were going...painted some other models...Real Life again...more discouragement...bla...bla...bla...   Maybe some of you know how this goes.  But, finally, here they are all finished and ready for my zombie games.

These are Big City PD from Tactical Miniatures.  You can find them here.  They are great sculpts and perfect for depicting the Toledo police department.  They've armed themselves for a firefight as 2 of them are carrying shotguns and 1 has an M-16 assault rifle.  The 2 with pistols make excellent beat cops.  In all, I think they are well prepared for the apocalypse.

Once I got going I enjoyed painting these models and each began to develop a character or persona as I painted them.  I will write up some character profiles in a future blog post.  These heroic officers will feature in some zombie gaming sometime soon.

  3. Heavily armed - but no body armour? I guess they were in too much of a hurry. Anyway, nicely painted :-) .

    1. Thanks! There is another set that goes with these models. Narcotics agents or something like that. They are in body armor. I have them still in the pack. Will paint them...eventually... : )

    1. Thank you! One day at a time, as they say. I'm hopeful my motivation is returning.

  7. They look great. I though most cop duo's carried a shotgun in the car. Or is that just on the tv?

These are some of my favourite police figures. I nearly got some off a guy of lead adventure but got pipped to the post.

Love the paint jobs on them and certainly look forward to reading there backgrounds.

My next two survivors figures are dragging along at the moment there will be no Zomtober post this week I feel.

    1. Thanks! Typically in the USA police keep at least one shotgun in their cruiser. The assault rifle seems a bit much but in the apocalypse...who knows?

I think these are the best modern police I've found out there. Thanks for looking and taking time to comment.
